We want you to love your Akelia piece. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help.

Returns

We gladly accept returns of eligible fine jewelry within 14 days of delivery.

To qualify for a return:

 

  • The item must be in its original, unworn condition.
  • It must include all original packaging (box, pouch, certificates, etc.).
  • It must not be a custom, engraved, or made-to-order piece (see exclusions below).

Return Window: Within 14 days of delivery

Refund Method: Original payment method (less shipping fees if applicable and restocking fee)

Return Shipping: Complimentary within the US & Canada

Exchanges

We offer one free exchange on eligible pieces within 14 days of delivery.

 

  • Exchange requests must be made for the same or higher value item.
  • If you are unsure about size or style, we’re happy to help you find the perfect fit.

Made-to-Order & Custom Jewelry

Because each Akelia ring is handcrafted to order, we do not accept returns on:

 

  • Custom-designed pieces
  • Made-to-order engagement or wedding rings
  • Pieces with personalized engraving
  • Resized or altered items

However, we offer one complimentary resizing (up or down 1 full US size) on eligible rings.

How to Start a Return or Exchange

Please email contact@akeliadesign.com with the following:

  • Order number
  • Item(s) you wish to return or exchange
  • Reason for return or desired new item (if exchanging)

We’ll respond within 1–2 business days with a prepaid return label and instructions.

Return Tips

  • Please ensure the piece is securely packaged to avoid damage.
  • Returns that show signs of wear, damage, or alterations will not be accepted.
  • Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days after inspection.

Final Sale Items

The following are not eligible for return or exchange:

 

  • Final sale or clearance items
  • Gift cards
  • Custom or engraved jewelry
  • International orders outside US & Canada (unless defective)
